how to get there
Merrepen Festival is easily accessible on sealed bitumen roads and is only 3 hours drive from Darwin driving through the picturesque Daly River Region.
Drive south from Darwin on the Stuart Highway to Adelaide River and turn right onto Dorat Rd, just after the bridge in Adelaide River (where the horse race track is).  Drive along Dorat Rd for approximately 90 kms then turn right onto the Daly River Rd.  Follow this road all the way to the Merrepen Art Centre at Nauiyu.
